What is this study about?

This study is looking at the way people use low-code and no-code tools. It's triyng to understand:

Who is this project aimed at?

This study is looking to hear from people from different backgrounds.

Many people are citizen developers without realising— perhaps you've used a spreadsheet to create a system to track things, used Notion to create a knowledge base, or automated something with Zapier, etc. Anyone that has been involved with creating digital systems in their organisation will probably have a perspective that is valuable to this research.

What does the project involve?

Respondents will be asked to take part in an interview. The duration of the interview can be adjusted, based on availability, but it will typically take 60-90 minutes. Interviews can be conducted virtually, or face-to-face (in Manchester).

You do not need to prepare for the interview.

Your contributions will be confidential and anonymised.

Confidentiality and anonymity

During the interview, you may be asked to share information about your organisation.

In cases where your responses are referred to directly (not in aggregate), the author will take care to ensure that the quote is minimal and does not reveal your identity or the identity of your organisation.

The interview will only progress if you have reviewed and signed the Participant Information Document and the Consent Form. You will be sent these documents in advance. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concerns you may have.

This research project has been granted ethical approval.
